Connecting the Dots – A Brisbane Bayside Wedding

Blessed by the natural beauty of Brisbane’s seaside suburb of Wynnum, this wedding was made even more beautiful by the efforts made by the Groom, Brad, to create a romantic wedding by the bay for his Bride, Phannawadee.

Standing before his family and friends, Brad bravely spoke some of his vows in Phannawadee’s native Thai language, which, in English translated to ‘You are in my heart forever, I love you.’ But even more impressive than this gesture was the poem below that he wrote especially for the ceremony.

Connecting the Dots’ by Brad Sheriff

‘A life is made of many points, and these points, like dots connected, can trace out where a life has gone and how it’s been affected.

Regardless how the points may lie or how they came to be, without a point you can’t define what a life will be.

So today two lives will be entwined bound by loving and affection and their points from here and further on will always have connection.

And as more points come to their page through faith or fate or whatever. A stronger resolution’s made per square inch drawn together.’

Wake Me Up When September Ends… The Dream Wedding of Tamika and Shaun Ireland

It is always a good day at the office when you are a Marriage Celebrant. You get to work in breathtaking locations with a bunch of talented photographers, videographers, musicians and wedding suppliers to create a happy and special day that couples, their friends and family treasure for a lifetime. Tamika and Shaun’s September wedding in beautiful Tumbulgum was certainly no exception!

High on a hill overlooking the scenic Tweed Valley, the lush grounds of private residence, Velleron House, created a spectacular setting for Mr and Mrs Ireland’s romantic wedding. Tamika had gone to great lengths to style her dream wedding day, with several guests commenting that she should perhaps get into wedding planning! The bride was stunning in an ethereal George Wu dress as her proud parents walked her across the lawn to marry her beau. After a warm and charming ceremony the guests celebrated the beginning of the couple’s happily ever after in a marque on the lawn, perched almost in the clouds.

To really appreciate this wedding you must see Tamika and Shaun’s fabulous wedding video by Matt Barwick Films. Matt is a pleasure to work with and his wedding films capture the emotion, beauty and sentiment in a truly unique and considered way. Tamika and Shaun’s equally delicious wedding photos were taken by the delightful Caroline of Minihaja Photography who is also responsible for their dreamy engagement photos.
