Spicing It Up in Montville

Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville is well versed in setting the stage for an elegant and intimate autumn wedding and a romantic garden ceremony in this lush country estate proved the perfect surroundings in which to celebrate the marriage of Oliver and Jessica.

Before exchanging vows, the Bride and Groom invited their Mothers to share their wisdom and experience of marriage. A wonderful way for the Mothers to be involved in the ceremony, this ritual never fails to create some sweet, touching and hilarious moments. The moment that stole the show, however, was the enthusiastic Groom jumping in for the kiss before being invited to do so and the Bride scolding him and insisting we do it again! Oliver got two kisses though, so I think he still came out in front.

As the sun slowly set on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the newlyweds were serenaded under the candlelit trees by a string quartet and went on to enjoy an evening of fine dining and extra fine dancing well into the wee small hours.

Love Prevails for Mr and Mrs O’Loughlin

Que sera, sera! Whatever will be, will be, so relax and have faith that your wedding dream will come true – at the end of the day you will be married and in the grand scheme of things, not much else really matters.

Recently The Wedlock Smith ventured to Byron Bay to marry Mr and Mrs O’Loughlin. The Brisbane couple successfully coordinated a Canadian entourage, a St George Illawarra Dragons themed bridal combi van and a picture-perfect Hinterland reception property. However, Mother Nature had other plans for their barefoot Tallows Beach wedding and persistent drizzle forced the ceremony to be moved to the reception venue.

With a little luck, determination and patience, The Wedlock Smith married  the O’Loughlins in a garden overlooking the lush, green Hinterland. Apart from a few tears shed by the Bride’s proud father, guests managed to stay dry throughout the ceremony and the celebration was able to kick off without delay. The moral of this story is not to fret if you must use your “Plan B” ceremony location. Ultimately love shall prevail. Go the Drags!!!

Testimonial from Mr & Mrs O’Loughlin

“Jac Smith gave us our dream wedding ceremony. We can not say enough about Jac, not only is she a lovely person, she is also the best marriage celebrant we could have ever hoped for. Leading up to our wedding day, Jac was extremely helpful, providing us with heaps of different ideas for our vows. On the day, Jac was organised to ensure everything ran smoothly and she set the tone perfectly, making us feel relaxed and our family and guests feel welcomed. We would highly recommend Jac to anyone planning to use a marriage celebrant.”
